Find the golf ball for your game

BallFIT compares how you play with what each ball is built to do, and tells you how well your ball suits you. Two minutes, no sign-in.

The free check, step by step

  1. Which ball do you play? Search by maker or name and tap yours. If there are several years, pick the one that matches the box.
  2. Where do you play? Search for your course by name, or tap Find courses near me (it asks for your location once, only when you tap, and it is optional). Tick This is my home course to see its weather.
  3. How far do you carry it? Your driver, 7-iron and pitching wedge. Carry is how far the ball flies through the air to the first spot it lands, not how far it ends up. A good, typical strike and your best guess is fine.
  4. What matters most? Choose up to three, in order. Your first choice counts most.

The free check is one go on each phone. BallFIT Premium lets you run it again and again.

Reading your result

A match: your ball suits what you asked for. You can print or save a certificate with your name on it.

Close: a good fit with a little left on the table.

Not a match: not the best fit for what you asked for.

Under the result, Why lists each thing you said mattered, marked Good, Fair or Weaker, with a plain-English reason. Results are estimates to help you decide, not guarantees. The best test is always to try a ball.

BallFIT Premium

  • Run your fit as often as you like: a new club, a new season, a new handicap. Every run is kept.
  • Your three best balls in each of three price ranges, with the reasons. The suitable ball in each range has a green ring, and a green dot marks each thing it is strong for.
  • A dashboard that remembers your details and keeps every fit, so a re-run starts filled in.
  • Weather at your home course, now and hour by hour, with wind and rain or thunder warnings.

Premium is £3.99 every 3 months, charged to your Apple Account, and renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period.

Your subscription

  • Cancel: iPhone Settings, tap your name, Subscriptions, BallFIT, Cancel Subscription. Or in the app: Subscription and data, Manage or stop my subscription.
  • Deleting the app does not cancel it, and neither does Erase all my BallFIT data.
  • New phone or reinstalled? Tap Restore purchases on the Premium screen.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your privacy

  • No account, name or email is needed. Your answers and results stay on your phone.
  • Your location is used only if you tap Find courses near me.
  • Erase everything BallFIT keeps on your phone under Subscription and data, Erase all my BallFIT data.
  • Licences, credits and the full Privacy Statement and Terms: in the app, About and licensing (at the bottom of your result).
