What kaddieiq.com stores on your device, why, and how to opt out at any time.
No third-party cookies
kaddieiq.com does not set traditional cookies, does not run any advertising or retargeting network, and does not share anything about your visit with a third party for marketing purposes. What we do use is a small amount of browser storage — localStorage and sessionStorage — described in full below.
What's strictly necessary
These are on regardless, because the site would not work sensibly without them. They never leave your browser.
Theme preference
Remembers whether you chose light, dark, or match-device — so the site doesn't reset to the default every visit.
Blueprint hole
On the home page, remembers which course hole you last had showing in the background.
First-visit animation
A flag noting you've already seen the opening ring animation once this session, so it doesn't replay on every page.
Analytics — off by default until you choose
We measure page speed and site usage: which pages are visited, roughly how visitors arrived (the referring site's domain only, never a full address or search terms), device type, browser, and standard page-loading timings. This exists purely to find and fix slow or broken pages — it is never sold, shared for advertising, or linked to your name or email address.
Each browser session gets a random identifier that lives only in sessionStorage and is gone the moment you close the tab. Server-side, we also derive a one-way hash from your IP address to tell new visitors from returning ones in aggregate — that hash changes every week and cannot be reversed back into an IP address; the IP itself is never stored. This data is processed by Supabase, our database provider.
The banner on your first visit lets you accept or decline this. Declining sets a permanent opt-out in your browser (localStorage) and no analytics beacon is ever sent — every other part of the site, including BallFIT, works exactly the same either way. You can change your mind at any time using the button below.

Fonts
We load Montserrat and DM Sans from Google Fonts. This is a static font file request, not a tracking script — Google does not set advertising cookies for a standard font embed like ours.
