Our First Ambassador
Welcome to the team, Teddy Dean. 💚
We’re proud to introduce our first KaddieIQ® ambassador - and what a player to start with.
At just 7 years old, Teddy is already the reigning Under-8 Welsh Champion, with 11 tournament wins across the US Kids and European Junior Golf Tours. It’s a remarkable start to what we’re sure will be a special journey in the game.
Teddy already plays with a maturity well beyond his seven years, and we couldn’t be more excited to back him: watching how far that game takes him, and how many other young golfers he brings along for the ride.

A round with Teddy Dean and his team
On Saturday 6 September 2026, our founder Paul Cottingham headed to the Sapphire Course at Hill Valley Golf Club in Cheshire for a round with our ambassador, Teddy Dean - joined by Teddy’s dad, Sam, and his grandad, Trevor.
True to form, Teddy played beautifully, and the adults spent most of the day trailing in his wake. A huge amount of fun was had by all. As founder, Paul found it a genuine pleasure to spend time with such an inspirational young golfer, and to see first-hand the love, support and coaching Teddy’s team give him.

We’re already looking forward to the 2027 competitive season, and hope to get out on the course with Teddy again before then. And yes - we are all BallFIT. More from the day to follow over the coming days.
What a KaddieIQ ambassador stands for
Length off the tee isn’t the qualifying test. What we look for is a player who thinks their way round a golf course and represents the game well while doing it.
