Two data sets, two different questions
MyGolfSpy measured weight, diameter, compression and roundness across 36 balls from three boxes. The PR3 returned zero defective balls and a compression delta of just 5.3 points, which is tight ball-to-ball consistency by any standard. The catch is the symmetry grade: MyGolfSpy's data suggests the individual balls are internally inconsistent even where the sample-wide numbers look clean, and every ball in the sample measured thicker at the pole than at the seam — within roundness tolerance, but a consistent directional bias rather than random noise.

Where the PR3 actually landed on performance
On the performance side, the PR3 was the highest-launching urethane ball in the test and seventh overall for peak height across all 48 models, and among the lowest-spinning urethane balls — high launch and low spin tend to travel together. At mid swing speed it held that high flight but finished last for total distance. At low swing speed it struggled for iron ball speed and distance, consistent with a firm compression profile. MyGolfSpy's read is that it suits higher swing speed players who can use the launch characteristics.
Quality control is not a fitting
A perfect good ball rate tells you the box you buy will resemble the box someone else buys. It tells you nothing about whether the ball matches your delivery — and here the same ball scored at the top on manufacturing and at the bottom for distance in one of the tested speed conditions. That is not a contradiction in the data; it is two different questions being answered honestly.
